Kokos

Terms

Last updated September 8, 2026

Kokos is made by Yaroslav Kononenko. By downloading or using it you agree to the terms below. They are short on purpose.

Trial

Kokos is free for 7 days from first launch, with every feature. After that it asks for a license key. Nothing is charged automatically and no account is created.

License

A license is personal. It lets one person install and use Kokos on every Mac they own or personally use, at home and at work. If you buy for a team, buy one license per person. Do not share, resell or publish your key.

The key is checked with Gumroad when you enter it and about once a month after that. If the purchase is refunded or charged back, the key stops working.

Updates

A license includes all updates to Kokos 1.x for as long as we publish them. If a future major version is a paid upgrade, the version you bought keeps working.

Refunds

Ask within 14 days of purchase and you get a full refund, no questions asked. Email hi@getkokos.com with the email you used on Gumroad, or use the link in your Gumroad receipt. After a refund the license key is deactivated.

Requirements

Kokos needs macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Some folders require permission from macOS, which the system asks for on first access. Kokos does not bypass system permissions.

No warranty

Kokos moves, copies, renames and deletes your files on your command. It is provided as is, and we cannot promise it is free of bugs. Keep backups. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or other damage caused by using Kokos, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. This does not limit rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Privacy

What Kokos sends and stores is listed on the Privacy page.

Changes

We may update these terms for future versions. The terms that apply to you are the ones published when you bought your license.
